DATELINE NBC RE-EXAMINES THEIR “FOLLICLE 5” AFTER ONE YEAR OF TREATMENTS WITH FIVE DIFFERENT PRODUCTS FOR THIN HAIR.
After one year of usage, the HairMax LaserComb® shows positive results and draws
praise from it’s volunteer in the Dateline NBC independent study.
Boca Raton, FL, August 1, 2005—Dateline NBC aired Sunday, July 31, 2005, the
conclusion of its 12-month independent examination of five popular treatments
available to men with thin hair.
The story tracked the successes and failures of each man’s
experience with an assigned treatment. The treatments used included: hair
transplant surgery, Propecia, the combination of Propecia and Monoxidil,
Viviscal and the HairMax LaserComb.
Dr. Paolo Romanelli, a professor with the University of Miami’s Dermatology
Department, examined the volunteers at the start of the project, at six months
and again after 1 year.
In his opinion the HairMax LaserComb continued to show
positive results after 12-months of use, further validating that the LaserComb
continues to show incremental benefits in long-term users.
Volunteer “George” was the only participant using a non-surgical treatment who
stated enthusiastically that he would absolutely continue with his HairMax
LaserComb treatment due to the benefits both he and Dr. Romanelli noted.
