Hair loss lotion

Mechanism of action

The product consist in a triple action lotion: stimulating, restructuring, protective

Full description

An excessive loss of hair, which exceeds the physiological balance between the bulbs in anagen and telogen phase, affects more frequently genetically bent persons and it is the consequence of some negative factors.

The most important ones are the alteration of the hormonal metabolism, the insufficient bloodstream by the scalp, an unbalance of the sebaceous secretion, some pathologies and a physiology unbalance, shortage of nutrients and least but not last the psycho-physical stress.

The daily action against hair loss has to be based on a specific formula, in which each component acts synergically with the others. The active substances and principles included in our formula have a triple action:

1) STIMULATING ACTION OF THE MICROVASCULATURE OF THE FOLLICLE AND ANTIANDROGENIC ACTION

We have combined active vasodilative and locally stimulative principles with 5á reductase inhibitors in order to balance the diminished microvasculature by the pilonidal follicle, which reduces the supply of nutrients to the pilonidal bulb and in order to enhance the reproduction of the cells of the pilonidal shaft.

This combination enhances the bloodstream and directly stimulates the pilonidal follicle, inhibiting or slowing down the synthesis of dihydrotestosterone (DHT). The factors of vascular balance enhance the anagen phase (growth) and favour metabolic exchanges.

2) RESTRUCTURING/NORMALIZING ACTION OF PILONIDAL SHAFT AND OF THE INTEGRITY OF THE SCALP

In order to improve the scalp trophism and favour the function of the pilonidal follicle, we do not use in this formula the usual sulphurated aminoacids, but their tripeptide precursories as glutathione: they produce organic sulphur, which is a basic element in the building of keratinic fibres.

In the formula there are also niacinamide, a vitamin responsible for the process of restructuring and normalizing and zinc, an oligoelement that is an active mineral ion and is present in the physiologic metabolism. These elements enhance cellular functioning.

3) PROTECTIVE ACTION AGAINST THE AGGRESSORS

The continuous environmental aggressions to the fibrillar hair structure and to the scalp damage the hair vital cycle, the quality of its growth and its mechanical properties. It is important not only to prevent the hair loss but also to re-establish and maintain the integrity of the exsisting hair.

UV rays, with a photo-oxydation process, provoque the break of cystine links and produce peroxide radicals. These radicals damage the proteinic matrix and increase the porosity of the cuticle and its sensibility to the environment.

Consequently hair is more fragile and its friction coefficient increases, while the break point of the fibres decreases. Furthermore the quantity of sulphur in the kreatinic structure decreases because of the progressive degradation of proteins.

In order to effectively prevent these negative effects, in the formula are used anti- free radicals substances and agents for the "mechanical" protection of the hair shaft with high conditioninig property such as proteic compounds, silicons and cationic conditioners with polymeric structure.
